Meet the Key Members of Our Friendly Staff

Scott J. Bartlett, Principal
Scott is not only a co-owner and Managing Partner of DMC, he continues to perform field work to stay connected with clients and the day-to-day circumstances our staff encounters. A graduate of the University of Florida, Scott has more than a decade of experience in construction, construction management and asbestos consulting. Scott is certified as an EPA/State of Florida Inspector and Project Supervisor, and is NIOSH 582 certified to conduct air monitoring and associated sample analysis.

J. Michael Bradshaw, P.E., LAC
Mike holds a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is a recognized expert in his field. He has over 19 years experience in the Engineering and Environmental Consulting industry, providing asbestos, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene services throughout Florida. Mike is a Florida-registered professional Engineer and a Florida Licensed Asbestos Consultant. Over the years, Mike has performed upwards of 1,000 asbestos surveys and air quality evaluations for a diverse clientele from the private, commercial industrial, institutional and government sectors.

Karen L. Rider, CHMM
Karen holds a B.S. Degree from the University of South Florida (USF) and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Industrial Hygiene. She has over 22 years experience in the environmental consulting field, and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) Ð Masters Level and a Certified AHERA Asbestos Inspector and Management Planner. Ms. Rider has conducted hundreds of asbestos surveys, and over 1,000 Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). A practicing Microbiologist, Ms. Rider is a recognized expert in Indoor Air Quality Investigations, Compliance Audits and Fungal Assessments, and is currently serving a 3-year term as Board Director of the National Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM).

Edward Butler
Mr. Butler holds a B.S. Degree from Montclair State University (N.J.) and a M.B.A. Degree from the University of North Florida (UNF). He has more than 15 years of successful leadership experience in Call Centers and Customer Service environments, both regulated and non-regulated. He has spent the better part of his career in mid-to-upper-level management roles in utility, banking, and medical fields. Mr. Butler is adept at QuickBooks and all MS Office functions, as well as telephonic systems such as ACD and IVR. He oversees administrative functions including report preparation, as well as payroll, taxes, A/R & A/P and collections.
