Asbestos Surveys, Asbestos Consulting, and Air Monitoring
We perform asbestos surveys to assist our clients in complying with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations. We are especially cognizant of the state and local asbestos requirements throughout Florida regarding building renovation and demolition. Our asbestos consulting also includes project design, project monitoring and air monitoring during asbestos abatement projects. Our team has extensive experience working with the client and the other trades involved to ensure successful renovation and demolition projects, on time and within budget.
Indoor Air Quality/Environmental Investigations
Our understanding of building engineering systems and construction methods, coupled with our industrial hygiene expertise, enables us to locate the source of indoor air quality concerns. DMC can test for indoor air quality comfort parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, as well as dust, particulates, mold, bacteria, and formaldehyde. These can be common indicators of inadequate ventilation and/or crowded work spaces, or design or operation flaws of HVAC systems. DMC has provided analyses for mold and bacteria during assessment projects in homes, schools, banks, and various commercial buildings. Once the source of the problem is identified, we also provide contractor oversight and clearance testing during remediation projects.
Industrial Hygiene and Environmental, Health and Safety Evaluations
We boast a staff of well-trained and experienced industrial hygienists who are intimately familiar with environmental, health and safety regulations that may apply in a particular workplace. DMC can provide environmental, health and safety audits and training, as well as perform personal monitoring for workplace exposures to chemicals and excessive noise.
Real Estate Transactions / Due Diligence
DMC staff has years of experience conducting ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at a variety of locations for various clients. Many assessments also involve asbestos, mold, hazardous materials, and lead inspections. Our results allow property buyers and/or real estate investors to make in-formed decisions regarding property acquisition and sale. All projects are competitively priced and efficiently managed to be completed in a timely manner within the client's project schedule. |
